More granular display of what is currently blocking the agent

What problem or use case are you trying to solve?

Currently we have three dots at the bottom of the screen, but this is a bit mysterious:

Describe the UX of the solution you'd like

it’s hard to tell if something is happening, and if so what. It would be nice to make this more clear about if it’s thinking/generating thinking tokens, or waiting on output, or something
