RFtools modular storage crashes when using tier 4 storage module card

ATM7 version 0.4.34 using curse forge. Latest version that seems to be available.
Server crashed, but game remained up so there is no crash log to post.

I had been using the RFtools storage modular storage for a while using tier 3 cards. I upgraded the card to tier 4. I place the card in the modular storage and the instant I pushed "L" to lock it in, the server crashed with an error reading "internal exception: io.netty,handler.codec.decoder.exception: value 299 is larger than limit 128."

Upon relog in the card that was use was deleted. I am not sure if this is modpach issue or a server side / config issue.
