PeerTube's video sync feature is great, but can overwhelm community instances when lots of users all try to import their entire YouTube history. This can generate lots of concurrent transcoding jobs, and can even fill up local server storage.
Describe the solution you would like
It would be great if there was a way to modify user accounts from the admin panel, so that they have permission to use the channel sync feature. I think this would be a great benefit to offer my OpenCollective donors who are supporting the instance, and would allow me to keep the feature enabled without turning it on for everyone.
