Describe the current behavior

The dark theme isn't applying to almost anything in the interface at all

Steps to reproduce

  1. install latest chocobozzz/peertube:production-bookworm image from scratch. (as of 12/28/2024)
  2. go to plugsin/themes and install "dark"
  3. Switch your user profile to the dark theme.
  4. it's not dark.
Tried refreshing, using a different browser, having a friend do it on their instance, restarting peertube, and clearing cache. Other (non official) dark themes seem to work fine, but are not even remotely as good as the official one (when it works)

Describe the expected behavior

Expected the interface

Additional information

  • PeerTube instance:

    • URL: peertube.1ez.us
    • Version: 7.0.0
    • NodeJS version: whatever is in the official docker image chocobozzz/peertube:production-bookworm
    • Ffmpeg version:whatever is in the official docker image chocobozzz/peertube:production-bookworm
  • Browser name, version and platforms on which you could reproduce the bug: edge, firefox, chrome

  • Link to browser console log if relevant: this seems to be a css issue, so no console logs are relevant

  • Link to server log if relevant (journalctl or /var/www/peertube/storage/logs/): as above.

Note the theme worked fine before I updated today to 7.0.0. As I mention in the description an install from scratch also has the theme broken though, so it's probably not an upgrade issue.
