Other Virtual desktop clients can't see HDR monitor

I know you stated that HDR is a problem, but I was curious as to why other clients such as VNC servers or even Meta Quest Link can't see the virtual monitor when HDR is enabled on it. When I was using Sunshine and using MikeTheTech's VDD, I was always able to see the virtual monitor when HDR was enabled on it. For instance, say I started an HDR stream creating a virtual desktop from my iPad M4, but I wanted to use VNC on my phone to do some other things or as a companion to streaming my desktop. Can't see it using Apollo but was able to see it on VNC using Sunshine.

I have no idea, the fundaments are all the same for any VDD, so there shouldn't have any difference between SudoVDA and MTT's VDD in this aspect.

Does turning HDR off show the monitor though?

Yes. Turning it off does show the monitor. I just thought that was odd behavior.

Have you tried clearing monitor cache? It's documented in the FAQ section in the README.

Hmm? I don't remember seeing a way to do that. The VNC I'm using is called RealVNC. Unless you meant in Apollo's README.

RealVNC and Quest Link are all closed source so I can't investigate how they detect monitors. I think you might also open a support ticket there to see if they have some insights.
