How to request custom license scheme

FoxRefire edited this page Jul 30, 2024 · 8 revisions

Announcement

I am not accepting any more new requests as it takes a lot of effort to make sure it works.

In most cases, it is very easy to create this yourself.

Please consider submitting a pull request once you have created it.

If you don't know how to use Git, you can create an issue and paste in a code snippet.

In either case, you will be credited as a contributor in the commit history.

Before sending addition request

  • Be sure to use a Chromium-based browser to dump HAR basically. Otherwise I may not be able to read the HAR file properly.

  • Requests are not guaranteed to be added. I will decide whether or not to add a scheme based on the information I receive, based on technical ease and my mood.

  • Forms must be filled out properly. I may reply to you to ask for confirmation of its operation. I do not want to go through the trouble of finding a VPN and registering an account to check the operation on my end.

  • This does not apply if I have given you separate instructions.

  • If you can write code, please see How to add custom license scheme yourself.

Guide

  1. Open the Devtool and switch to Network tab(F12 --> Network)

*)In the tab that plays the video, not in the extension window

  2. Go to website which you request scheme addition and play widevine-protected video

  3. Export HAR by pressing "📥" icon 326279394-2dcae7e3-57ba-476b-a87b-26b85e358766

  4. Upload the dumped HAR into any file uploaders

*)If you are not sure which uploader to use, I recommend using the following for your Opsec.HAR files may contain sensitive information.

Do not use garbage like Chinese cloud storage that requires a shitty job to me for Big Brother just to download a fucking mere file.
