The runAs plugin provides an ability to run TeamCity builds under the specified Windows/Linux user account.

Purpose

• To isolate the build processes to the needs of users
• To run tests under:
• Administrator/Root disabled/elevated privileges
• Guest/User/Power User/IIS_IUSRS/Domain users
• Specially created Windows/Linux accounts

Scope

• Works on Windows and Linux agents
• It is not responsible for the configuration accounts/groups
