The runAs plugin provides an ability to run TeamCity builds under the specified Windows user account.

Purpose

• To isolate the build processes to the needs of users
• To run tests under:
• Administrator disabled/elevated privileges
• Guest/User/Power User/IIS_IUSRS/Domain users
• Specially created Windows accounts

Scope

• Works on Windows agents
• It is not responsible for the configuration accounts/groups
• It does not change the set of security privileges
