Currently we have a mix of upper- and titlesentence-case error messages. Ideally this could be standardized, and the convention documented in the styleguide.

I have no strong opinion on what the convention should be, besides that there should be one.

My preference would be title case.

Yes sentence-case

I guess this discussion could also apply to warnings and logging messages, though converting the list file to sentence-case would be a pretty significant change
