Make deployment work #9

Hi @geyslein ,

would you mind taking another look at the deployment script? It currently fails with this error:

Branch "main" is not allowed to deploy to github-pages due to environment protection rules.
--
The deployment was rejected or didn't satisfy other protection rules.

The repository is public btw and I checked all the Github action configs etc.

If we can't make it work, I can switch back to Jupyter Book. I would ideally do this before Monday.

done. that. had to change the path. I deactivated the 'old' pages workflow.
