DLL Error Messages

The following DLL Errors may appear in a message box after clicking OK to apply new settings.

DLL Error 5 DLL Error 87

DLL Error 5 - Com port could not be opened 1
DLL Error 87 - Com port does not support selected values 2

The COM port will be closed again if open after attempting to apply settings

  1. Port may be open with another application or has been removed since last port scan ↩

  2. Selected settings out of range or port does not support any setting changes (e.g. some virtual port types) ↩
