Config property display names are too long

The display names of config options are far too long. Even on smaller GUI scales, the text doesn't fit:

We should have concise property display names and put the detailed descriptions in the tooltip for the option. If it's too hard to give meaningful short names, we should further subdivide the config category to give necessary context.
