Hello, thank you for your interest. This project was actually a utility/tool of a larger project but, because the code itself appeared to be very modular, hierarchical, and object-oriented with a fair amount of documentation, I decided to publicize it for educational purposes.

The larger project (which I will start working on very soon) is about hardware-accelerating a simple neural network on an FPGA chip, using the VHDL hardware-descriptive language; if you wish to contribute to the software aspect (i.e., this Innervate repository), it would be great to extend classes like losses.py or activations.py to include more interfaces (e.g., activations.py lacks many commonplace activation functions such as Leaky ReLU).
