Hello, this is a file to test out TV Tropes's markup format. Information is taken from Administrivia/TextFormattingRules. Outdated formatting will not be considered.
The last word of this sentence is a %comment%
%% This entire line is a comment
! Level 1 Heading
!! Level 2 Heading
!!! Level 3 Heading
Start with a horizontal line
---
* Bullet lists can start with asterisks
+ But can also use plus signs
** Multiple of the same type leads to indendation.
+++ Indentation beyond the third-level is against the rules
This is italic, this is bold, and this is @@monospace@@. The size of text can also be --reduced--. However, [=EscapeSequence=] means the inside is not interpreted.
[=CamelCase=] is usually some sort of Administrivia/WikiWord to be linked to. The Plot is a wikiword with only one work, but the curly braces make it work.
Many text formatting features use square brackets as well, such as
, colors like red: Red, piped internal links, piped external links. You
can also link domains like Test.Trope or Main/VideoGames. Another example of this is [=[[redirect:VideoGames=], but actually doing this is probably good in a sandbox.
A lot of things seem to follow this format, like subscript:subscript. Perhaps they can be generalized.
A can hide text , but only a can change what the outside looks like . Make sure it's closed!
In just the forums, quoteblock a quoteblock does quotes /quoteblock.
Of course, don't forget about folders.

Surprise inside!

There's also used for pages that index tropes.
