Currently there are some differences between platforms when measuring from the same source (laptop micrphone):

  • iOS seems to give higher levels for lower frequencies than Android and Web
  • Android seems to give lower general sound levels than iOS and Web (could be due to the fact that we apply the same arbitrary gain (AndroidGain) that was initially calculated for Android only)
