Here is some suggestions, mostly inspired by what Fing is doing.

Icons support

Show an icon next to hosts.
Auto detecting the appropriate icon and allowing to change it. It would greatly complete : Feature Request: Allow user to rename discovered devices #77

Show more informations about hosts

Operating System, Model name, Version, etc...
