Hi!
First of all, thanks for this very useful app!
I'd like to have the ability to make the app name prefix in notifications shorter. For example, I want to use [TG] instead of [Telegram] and [WA] instead of [WhatsApp]. That would make reading notifications faster when they're scrolled on a FitBit device's screen.
My idea is to add a "custom prefix" field to the per-app settings. And use it instead of the app name when sending a notification, if it's not blank.
I think I'll try to implement this myself and send a pull request.

Sorry for the late reply. I am currently not intending to add significant new features to the app, and instead focus on the core features and fix bugs. This is because I no longer have the time to work on this significantly as it is a side project only.
Thanks for the PR however! I may consider this for a future version of the app! 🙂
