Hi,
I'm suing Superset 4.0.2 and I'm not sure if there's a feature missing or I don't know how to configure it. I've reviewed several documentation pages, articles and issues without luck:
I have a dashboard with two charts based in the same dataset. (This dataset is a SQL table based on the publicly available Motor vehicles collision data from NY City)
My first chart shows crashes by crashdate (x-axis) and count(*) as the y-axis. My second chart is a pie showing percentage of crashes by contributing factor.
Cross-filtering works great when starting from the pie chart. It automatically filters the other chart by the "Contributing factor" dimension. But when I try to cross-filter by time range filtering from the first chart (enabling zoom controls) it doesn't work.
On the other hand, classic global dashboard filtering by time range works ok, too (but is much more cumbersome)
Is this feature present in the current Superset version? If so, how can I enable it? Does it require coding?
Thanks in advance, and congratulations for this great tool!
P.D: I've seen this issue (#29489) but the answer is automatically generated and I don't know if it applies to my case and how to implement it, it lacks a lot of context)
