Using PKL LSP server with Helix editor

Hello !

I've tried to use PKL LSP server with Helix editor with no success.
Helix configuration:

[language-server.pkl-lsp]
command = "pkl"
args = [ "server" ]

And in Helix's log found:

2024-12-07T14:25:11.987 helix_lsp::transport [ERROR] pkl-lsp err <- "Malformed message header.\n"
2024-12-07T14:25:11.988 helix_lsp [ERROR] failed to initialize language server: server closed the stream
2024-12-07T14:25:11.988 helix_lsp::transport [ERROR] pkl-lsp err: <- StreamClosed

Any ideas how to fix ?

Hey @LonelyCat, pkl server is unrelated to the LSP, it provides the underlying functionality for Pkl's language binding libraries like pkl-go and pkl-swift.

The LSP is currently distributed separately. You can read about how to integrate with it here: https://pkl-lang.org/lsp/current/integration.html
