Hey all,
I'm running GRBL1.1 on an UNO. Machine is home built. Settings are:
I really don't believe the problem is in my gear. I am mainly burning simple line art and text from Inkscape in SVG format. My problem is that laserGRBL is constantly speeding up and slowing down my machine. I set at constant speed and power. but you can watch my machine speed up and down. I believe LaserGRBL is sending too many line segments. It took over 4 minutes to go around a 40mm circle and generated over 2500 line segments. Even in simple text prints where it should be minimal move lines you can watch the machine slow as LaserGRBL starts spitting out line segments like crazy. Is there a setting in the code I can tweak so LaserGRBL isn't so precise?
With constant power the speed must match or I get horrible inconsistency with line quality. Thanks for any help,
Jim F.
