piping TUI into other app?

Not sure if anyone is familiar with ComputerCraft, but basically it's a Minecraft mod enabling Lua-based computers ingame. I got a really weird idea -- using a server that converts web pages into a format the computers understand, then piping interactions back. Any way to do sth like this without hacking my way around the terminal and basically reading from it, then figuring ansi shiz out? 🤔
