Yes, that is correct, it is determined by the version.py file https://github.com/cedricp/ddt4all/blob/v2.1.1/version.py |

I dont get it. If I have installed ddtall-win-installer-23.06.13-python-3.8.6-32bits.exe ... and it places a desktop shortcut when installed , and I press on the icon on the desktop why is it opening up the version 2.1.1 DDT4ALL and not opening up a version of 3.8.6 DDT4ALL? |

Because 3.8.6 is the version of the Python programming language and not the version of the ddt4all software. https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-386/ ddtall-win-installer software name 3.8.6 is the latest possible version for Windows 7. https://www.python.org/downloads/windows/ |
