It would be nice for the dimmer to return as a dimmer rather than an on/off

Could we extend the plug.ts and implemenet the new feature? who knows I don't.

Energenie haven't released the dimmer api documentation. If you have the dimmer and the app you might be able to intercept the calls using a man in the middle proxy to reverse engineer what is happening.

I don't have a dimmer at the moment so can't help

I've just ordered a dimmer, I'll see what I can do to find out how it works.

@Gordon-Newell awesome, I am sure you've noticed the issue with auto deployment. Let me know what goes on!

@chriscn I have installed the dimmer, not overly impressed and even their own app does not operate the dimmer functionality it is just treated light any other on/off light switch.

What is even worse is even turned off through the button on the wall, my dimmer bulbs are still lite up, although much dimmer.
