Import San José Public Art Collection

The San José Office of Cultural Affairs publishes a layer of installations in its Public Art Collection. The layer is in the public domain as a work of a California local government agency. We should import the layer into OpenStreetMap, conflating it with existing tourism=artwork features as necessary. This could help power something akin to Heart of the Valley, albeit with less multimedia content.

The layer includes fields like ARTISTNAME, PRIMARYCATEGORY, and URLPHOTO that correspond with the OSM keys artist_name, artwork_type, and image.

Features that have URLWEBPAGE or URLFACTSHEET set might also be useful to OpenHistoricalMap, but first we’d have to scrape the installation date from the webpage or fact sheet.
