So sorry to hear this. Praying for you and your family as you grieve your husbands loss. The scripts he wrote helped me get started into the world of Proxmox and virtual machines and I'm thankful for that! |

I never met your husband Angie but I felt I 'knew' him through his scripts. He taught me so much about Proxmox and introduced me to various homelab tools. He has saved me many hours and evenings and helped to make tasks easy. I've lost two friends to various cancers this year. It now feels like I've lost a third. I shed a few tears a few days ago when I learnt of this. I hope you don't mind but the server I'm commissioning next will be named tteck in his honour. |

I literally signed in to comment from my Vaultwarden instance that I deployed in my Proxmox home server environment. I'm a newbie and Tteck's work and scripts have been the calm in the storm of my learning and fumbling. My condolences to you and your loved ones. I am certain Tteck's work and contributions will continue to inspire others like he has done for me. |

I'm very new to this community but even in a short time it has been so clear what a revered and respected figure Tteck was. It seems like he made a lot of people's lives better (including mine!) while doing something he was passionate about. Wishing you and your family well. |

Like so many people who have commented already, I was a complete beginner to the world of Proxmox and, for the most part, any sort of self-hosted services. The scripts Tteck wrote are responsible for so many things that I've been able to do, both in running new services as well as some things I was able to learn for my own scripts. He was a huge help, and a huge inspiration, and while I never knew him personally, I will definitely miss him. Angie, my heartfelt condolences to you and yours. |

A few months ago I didn't know a thing about Proxmox, but stumbled upon the helper scripts that Tteck provided and maintained. Now, I probably know a little about Proxmox but I have 10 different services running on - and everything "just works". Because I can install and update stuff just with a simple copy and paste - and for that, I'll be forever thankful to @tteck and I'm glad his work will live on to make other people's lives just that bit easier. RIP Tteck and sincere condolences to his family. |

Angie, my sincere condolences. Don enriched many lives by sharing his knowledge. I'm 70 yrs old and started messing with PC's back in 1982. I lost my 'passion' for the technology 15 yrs ago but a single YouTube video I stumbled upon in Novaspirit Tech reignited my passion. Don was brilliant and could adequately explain complex subjects. My home lab is awesome and completely automated because of Don. I only hope that the small offering I left on ko-fi will help bring some ease to your family. |

It's amazing that this generous gentleman that I never knew existed has shared work which today has allowed me to jumpstart my path into VM's, Linux in general, and home-automation-fun so painlessly. I know well the momentum-sapping frustration that comes from being inundated with the sudden need to learn so many new platforms and packages.. being able to leverage his knowledge to quickly build something that I can use and which inspires me to continue is just such a gift at a time when I find it difficult to stay focused. Much appreciated, stranger! |

Good afternoon! I am tteckster's wife. I don't have a clue if anyone will even see this because I'm not the computer savvy person that my husband was, but I wanted to try. I know that he posted an update regarding his health the other week, and I wanted to let you all know that he passed away a few days ago. If anyone sees this, maybe you could make a better post. Thank you for all that supported him. Angie
This is Angie, and to say I am overwhelmed by all the comments, thoughts, love, prayers, and condolences is an understatement. As well as the donations. My husband loved this site, and he was passionate about computers, coding, and all the stuff that goes with it. He showed me a lot of the comments that were made when he posted about his cancer and it made him smile. Thank you all for the love and support that you have shown to him, and now me.
He would be amazed that I even found his sight and was able to make a post. Thank you all again, it warms my heart that he touched so many lives.*

The Ko-Fi link is still available and as far as we have seen this donation goes to Angie.
Here is the link if you want to support Angie and tteck's family (unfortunately I never knew his name):
