Menu Bar - (Settings and Preferences)

Expected Behavior

When creating an application using this starter template, as a developer it would be nice to have a basic Menu Bar or some way to access application Settings / Preferences. This is an excellent feature to include by default.

It would be great to have the structure already there and in place to easily edit a few files and show an About or Credits window to learn more about the app / project.

Current Behavior

At the moment there is no Menu Bar or Settings / Preferences menu. There is no way to view an 'About' or 'Credits' window. The application is just a plain blank window with nothing in it and the title of the application in the header bar.
