I had a look at Docu Seal and thought: Man that is pretty cool, finally a DocuSign competitor i can self host for me and my family.
First thing i checked: Does it have SSO.
I was really happy seeing that SSO is supported.
But unfortunately i wasn´t for long. Seeing that i need to pay 80$/month for SSO, i was really sad.
Thats why i want to raise the awareness at Docu Seal that there are people like me, small families, just wanting to use Docu Seal and having to pay for basic features. And yes, no SSO support is a deal breaker for me. Sorry guys, you lost a user.
I get that it costs money to operate such a product, so it would be fine for me if you let anyone pay for using SSO with your cloud service. But i just can´t understand why you made this decision for self hosted instances.
This should be, and fortunately becomes, a more basic feature, since taking the authentication process from single web apps to a centralized SSO provider is and will be more secure.
Therefor i would appreciate a comment form the developers, why this feature is paywalled and i would like you also to rethink this decision.
P.S. You also got listed in the ssotax github repo for paywalling this feature
