How to accept or decline only 1 occurrence of recurrent CalendarItem?

I'm wondering if there is any way to apply AcceptMixin methods, such as accept, decline and tentatively_accept, to single occurence? Default behavior of this methods is to change all items in the row. I have not found any documentation covering this case, that could provide a solution.

Here is my current solution. "All occurences" response works just fine.

    item: CalendarItem = account.calendar.get(id=event_id)  

    if update_type == UpdateEventTypes.ALL_OCCURENCES:
        match invite_status:
            case InviteEventStatus.ACCEPTED:
                item.accept(proposed_start=proposed_start, proposed_end=proposed_end)

                    proposed_start=proposed_start, proposed_end=proposed_end
                )
            case InviteEventStatus.DECLINED:
                item.decline(proposed_start=proposed_start, proposed_end=proposed_end)

    elif update_type == UpdateEventTypes.THIS_OCCURENCE:
        pass

I would appreciate any suggestion or idea!
(But secretly hope for stable and time-efficient workaround)

Solution was stupidly simple: I needed to use recurring master

    if update_type == UpdateEventTypes.ALL_OCCURENCES:
        item = item.recurring_master().refresh()
    item.accept(proposed_start=proposed_start, proposed_end=proposed_end)
