Explore using EMQ X Broker in place of HiveMQ in example here: https://docs.edgexfoundry.org/2.1/getting-started/quick-start/#exporting-data

Per Rocky: EMQ X Broker (https://github.com/emqx/emqx) has much better adoption than HiveMQ (https://github.com/hivemq/hivemq-community-edition) in open source community. BTW, EMQ open-sourced another extremely lightweight MQTT broker that designed for edge computing (https://github.com/nanomq/nanomq/). Not sure if EdgeX need this component?

Free online MQTT broker (deployed at AWS) - https://www.emqx.com/en/mqtt/public-mqtt5-broker

A free MQTT desktop client tool - https://mqttx.app/
