Should i update the old cropper script i am using?

I've been using the old cropper.js on v.0.9.1 for around 7 years now. I'm happy with it as it is and i don't need any other features that came in later versions. Also there are no usability problems with it that i know of.

I'm thinking about updating my tool right now to the newest cropperjs version, just to be up to date and safe. Yet there are some features that have changed that i don't like (mousewheel zoom not centered anymore, the height of cropper changes depending on image height).

Now i'm wondering if there is any need to update at all because of usability issues or security reasons? Or is it no problem to stay on the old version?

As the author, I recommend you upgrade it as the latest version resolves a lot of bugs, and also improves the user experience.
