What Happened?

When “start minimized” is enabled, the application starts, the tray icon appears, but the problem is that in the mac doc the application is considered open even though it has no window. This is infuriating when switching between apps via cmd+tab app switching.

If I open an app and close it with “cross”, it disappears from the dock, as I would like it to work in “start minimized” mode.

Minimal Reproducible Example (MRE)

  1. enable the “run minimized” option in the settings
  2. close the application completely
  3. open the app and press cmd + tab to verify the bug, but there is no window. The open window indicator is also there.

Expected Behavior

The application will open, will show up in the tray, but will not hang in the dock and will not show up in application switching via cmd + tab.
