Upgrade to core 2025.1.2, cannot edit helpers #135560
Comments
Restored a backup using 2024.12.5 and the ability to edit helpers was restored. |
Try using a name without that Underscore at the beginning. |
That's just an example. None of the helpers can be edited. I spot checked about a dozen. Somehow, the call to the settings page/function got broken. |
I am able to edit helpers in 2025.1.2. Have you tried a private/incognito tab or a hard refresh to clear cache? |
I did a full reboot. I'll try to reinstall. |
Reinstalled and it works now. The first install wasn't interrupted...but something didn't get installed correctly. Ghost in the machine... |
The problem
I have several helpers, input_booleans, counters, text, etc.
I can no longer edit them.
When I click on the gear icon to open the settings - a box pops up with the helper name - but no options to edit the helper.
In the past I was able to modify them.
For instance, I want to change a counter from a range of 1-4 to a new range of 1-6. The option to make this edit disappeared.
The only options in a counter "more info" popup are increment, decrement and reset as before. No option to redefine the helper parameters.
I am also unable to delete helpers since that is done in settings.
