The problem

Hi,
I have been trying to setup the envoy integration and seem to continually get the error " Failed Setup, will retry: None is not a valid EnvoyStorageMode"

I have tried to delete and reinstall the device /service more than once and by doing this have got different errors when I entered the password incorrectly, so fairly confident its connected and authenticated.
When I gave up trying yesterday it did eventually seem to find and setup a lot of entities but then came back to the same error. Reading some of the other issues here it looks like EnvoyStorageMode is related to the battery side of the system, which are not present in my system.
Picture of the error below :
Envoy Error

First days in HA with its connection to Enphase being a big draw for me.

Appreciate any help hopefully a simple fix...

Hi @scolefax, EnvoyStorageMode is indeed related to batteries. Can you share the home assistant log file and the HA envoy diagnostic file here so we can inspect what is going on?

For the log file go to settings / system / logs and click the download button on the right hand top.

For the diagnostics file go to settings / Devices & services / Devices and see if Envoy serialnumber shows in the list. If so click it and use the download diagnostics button.
