Cannot migrate from Unraid to proxmox /VM /ubuntu24.04

Hello everybody, currently i am migrating my Unraid server to proxmox. The last Application on Unraid is immich. I thought it would be easy to migrate the server on the nex machine.
so i ran a back up from the nightly build dumps:

My tries:
create the role manualy in the docker
create the template1 (never stays up, gets deleted immediatly)

Which version of Immich are you on? The first iteration of the db dump mechanism had some postgres version mismatch issues. Your options are to upgrade to the latest Immich version and use a dump from that, make a dump manually, or update your new installation to use a newer postgres version.

i am running 2.2.36 at least this is what i get, when tipping immich --version in the docker on unraid also on the proxmox i am running 2.2.36

in the new version, i am running postgres 16. can i run any newer version?

That's the version of the Immich CLI, not the server.

Yes, try postgres 17 - although I'm not sure whether there's a pgvecto.rs release for that.
