The bug

I'm trying to deploy Immich on my Asustor NAS, but I can't get it to work.

This is the error that appears in the logs of immich_server container:

1. Go to Portainer and click on create new Stack
2. Paste the content of the docker-compose.yml in the editor
3. Set the Environment Variables
4. Click on Deploy Stack
5. Check the immich-server logs

Is that a fresh install? To me this looks a bit like a permission issue.
Also, can you share more logs to get a context?

I just tried the latest version, v1.106.4, and I still get the same error.

Immich discord question Immich can't start also suggests a permissions issue:

I am getting same error.
Immich 1.122.3
ASUSTOR AMD : 4.3.3.RC92
Portainer community edition : 2.19.4

In mine, I initially used a Share folder specified in the Volumes section.
After some trial and error, I found out that it can be specified as
\volume1
or
\share

I used \volume1. The db folder had several sub-folders created. But nothing in the upload folder as immich_server, container shows it as being healthy, but log shows similar error that you are getting. Portainer has its own login of admin that I used. As db folder had subfolders created, don't think it is a permission issue.

Presumably you're using the default docker installation this nas ships with, which docker version is that?

i'm also using an asustor nas, running immich through docker/portainer
