Hi Some time ago, the technician connected the adapter ESP32 to the ebus connections in my Vaillant Ecotec Plus. And without a connection to the Vaillant, I measure about 0V on both pins of the ESP32, Should I measure a certain voltage with a mutimeter? |

Hi
Since 15 months, I’m using the VR33 Opentherm module in my new Vaillant Ecotec boiler. This module is connected to the OTGW module which I’m reading out from within Home Assistant.
I also bought the Ebus adapter, because I was interested in receiving more values from my Vaillant boiler
The technician connected the Ebus adapter to the two Ebus wires on the big PCB
But as you can see in the screenshot, there is no “ebusd signal”. And I don’t have any “ebusd values” in HA
What should I do?
• Remove the VR33 module in the Vaillant? Because the winter is starting, I don’t want to do this
• The documentation of the OTGW module says that the “two pins RT on the big PCB “must be shorted. Which is the case. Will it help that I remove these shorting for test purposes? Will I receive Ebusd values?
• Should I disconnect the OTGW module from the OT wires on the VR33 OT module in the Vaillant?
• Or what can I do?
This is a screenshot when connecting to the module via a browser
This is what I receive in Home assistant
