SSF2T 3DO CD Samples #1289

I'm not sure if turbo version shares the same sound triggers as the regular version. I would think it does, but would need tested. @grant2258 have you ever tried this? |
Old emu Nebula, from Elsemi, had a folder called tracklist, with various dats used to play custom soundtracks, including the one for ssf2 and ssf2t. |
it's using its own sample pack as well, so might be different triggers. |
The samples should only really be working for sf2 not sure why its in the others. I haven't personally tried it I'd assume triggers would need updated like yourself @mahoneyt944 |
It should just be hooked to sf2 and clones right now. The old hookup did mention that it could use the game driver name to narrow the clones, but I didn't refine that. Definitely different ways to skin that cat if we want to. |
I suspect this would be possible to do, but would need to be patched into ost_samples.c file after some analysis of the game. Has anyone got a ripped copy of the 3DO CD Samples? |
Cant you use the same OSTs from mame 2003 plus SF2? |
Not as package now. It's missing many of the samples needs for super turbo, including intros, akuma stage etc. See a MP3 rip here: https://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/album/super-street-fighter-ii-turbo-3do |
I saw that sf2, sf2ce and sf2hf uses cd samples from 3DO...
Can this be done with ssf2t?
