Property drop-down menus

Some properties have small numbers of possibilities (such as "instrument", "repo"), so it's conceivable that these could be shown as a drop-down menu, as opposed to having to type or copy-paste into the text boxes.

The way this would work in my mind is that the developer would specify the possible options in the yaml file, and these would be shown as a drop-down menu in the properties box. If one wanted to cover all bases, one option could be "Other", then have the ability to enter free-form text.

Would adding drop-down menus (with or without the "Other" option) be possible?
