Does MiniAudio Allow Low Latency Audio like Oboe on Android?

I'm new to audio and would like to use miniaudio to learn and experiment.
I've seen that Oboe allows low latency audio. I'm wondering if I can use miniaudio to accomplish the same things like:

• full duplex (live effect where mic signal is sent to headphones with minimal latency)
• applying effects to audio buffers in realtime

Yes. Oboe supports both OpenSL and AAudio, both of which are also supported in miniaudio. It'll use AAudio by default which is Androids low latency audio solution. You can configure your latency settings as well. Best place to read about miniaudio and it's capabilities is the documentation.

In the documentation it states: It supports playback, capture, full-duplex and loopback (WASAPI only) Does this mean that the ability to send audio from the microphone to the headphones is only possible on Windows? I mean I could still do this manually in full duplex mode by reading the input device and writing it to the output device instead of using a loopback device, right?

I just finished reading the documentation. I think it's well written and comprehensive. I saw the answer to my previous question in the simple duplex example: https://miniaud.io/docs/examples/simple_duplex.html.
I did not see any way to make custom encoders in the docs.

Custom encoders are not supported. It's planned but very low priority.
