[Feature request] "Lock" switch to prevent accidental change to code

Hello,
Sometimes when in a hurry, it is very easy to change something accidentally in a code even without knowing it (eg. supposing to type in some other window). Now there is no warning or "save?" window and all changes are applied directly to the snippet.
I think that the "lock" switch or slider would be much help to prevent such situations - the changes would be possible only if the "lock" is off.
