This program worked very well (I have installed it in a Linux VM), and now I just need to find the right drivers for display).

I am very new on Github, and I only discovered recently that it was possible to 'write' to a computer and ask the machine to perform 'things'.

Of course I knew that, but I was amazed when I saw that even people like me ('people' orientated, relying on soft skills only) could do such things (well, I am just learning bash on my own and my 'scripts' are ridiculous ,even tough they are improving bit by bit).

At any rate, I did not now that scripting was not reserved to professionals, and to professionals only. I imagine that this activation software must have been very difficult to write...but it is very easy for the user.

Massgrave, your sharing mindset is just amazing.

I kind of feel bad as I am not able to give anything back, as I am penny less.

And apart from giving help to people who don't know how to install an OS, and trying to persuade them to use open source software, there is not much I can do.

Any idea on what a person like me could do to help?

Yes, scripting is not reserved for professionals. Anyone with enough motivation can write it. I'm not a professional, I was just interested in this topic and learned scripting only to make this and apply my ideas on how an activator should behave.

btw, you can help the project by notifying us if you see any errors in script uses. Cheers!

Nice to see that outsiders are welcomed.

I had a little issue with your program, but it might be my fault:

I have downloaded the iso from the official MS website, and then installed it in Virtual Box (I have a Linux computer but also like Windows).

The problem is that, after activation, the resolution got stuck on 1024 x 1280, regardless of the resolution setting chosen on the host.

My goal is to setup a mono-task VM dedicated to Photoshop quasi exclusively . That's why getting a 1080 x 1920 display is so crucial.

I have downloaded various drivers, with no success.

I am going to give it another try, using different settings in Virtual Box. Let's see what happens...

If it still doesn't work, I'll try to install Windows on a separate drive, such as a fast USB stick (loading time being a non issue in my case). I guess that would solve the issue.

Apart from that, in case you need translations into French, I would more than happy to help. Feel free to contact me.
