- 3/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- Mix all the dry ingredients together
- Add in wet ingredients and stir until smooth.
- Use the batter to coat about 4 cups vegetables or 1 lb meat.
- Deep fry in hot peanut oil until golden brown on the outside and cooked through.
