CreatorKitCore (CKC) components do not load in my canvas app in a managed solution #403

Answered my own question finally. You can't edit managed apps that are solution-aware from inside the solution, but if you go to just the Apps section, you can edit there. Once I could edit the app, I could see what error was actually being thrown in the editor. It was an error message stating Power Apps Component Framework for Canvas apps was not enabled and tells you to go to Power Platform Admin Center > [Your env] > Settings > Products > Features > right side, halfway down, you'll the a section for PowerApps Component Framework for Canvas Apps, toggle it on and re-publish all customizations or re-import your solution; should be good to go! |

Posted this as a bug, but I'm not sure if it's a bug or my ignorance, so posted the problem here in the Q&A as well.
Everything works in dev in an unmanaged solution, both out-of-box components and CKC components, but in a managed solution in a different environment (CKC imported first for dependencies, of course), the CKC components don't exist. No errors in the app, no failures, no logs, just no CKC components either. Everything else loads just fine and I'm stumped as to how the dependencies exist, but are not respected? I can't edit the app directly either to see what's going on as it's managed.
Open to any ideas, wasted too many hours on this already at this point and have a very quickly approaching deadline. Thanks!
