TF237124: Work Item is not ready to save

I have 1 Azure DevOps account where around 7500 WorkItems are exist including Epic, Bugs, Enhancments etc. I want to migrate all these WorkItem from that account to another, i have created the manuall fields that are exist in my source project but when i run the migration tool only 30 ticket are being migrate and on other the error "TF237124: Work Item is not ready to save" is showing i tried multiple ways and use chatGpt but didn't find a way to fix it. So, just before where you cut the log it will tell you which field the issue was in.

Typical issues:

• Dates cant be invalid or null
• Area or Iteration paths must all exist.

Also, your configuration looks different from what we have in the documentation! Its a complete mess and while valid json, its not valid for this app... run it through devopsmigration upgrade to strip out the invalid bits, and then follow the documentation.

@MrHinsh I have make sure that all field are exists on my Target project as same as have on source project. I am in confusion that which field is missing however i have also enable the debug log but still not knowing which field is miss. Do you clue that how i can know that?

I did not mention missing fields.

As I stated these are invalid fields content! The specific field is written into the log just before the error you showed which is the debug for the field issue.

Perhaps if you shared the whole log rather than a snipit I will be able to see?

Can you enable "debug" and run with only source:7962?

Did you fix your config above based on my feedback?

• LogLevel is invalid and will be ignored
• QueryBit is invalid and will be ignored
• WorkItemTypeDefinition is invalid and will be ignored
• FieldMappings is invalid and will be ignored
• RequiredFields is invalid and will be ignored

@MrHinsh I already fix it and now i am able to migrate the WorkItems. Thanks for your help
