Data folder not created with installation script

For some reason in the latest fresh installations of ComparEval, the data folder is missing and needs to be created manually. This is potentially a bug

I think this has been always the case. Originally, ComparEval did not allow upload via web/API, so the only option was the manual upload to the data folder. And the instructions say: "the data folder must exist before you run bin/watcher.sh".
That said, feel free to create it unless it already exists e.g. within bin/install.sh.
