[BUG] No uppercase letters in Text input forms

Hi,

A mac user reported that whenever he uses text input (both in the dedicated form as well as as text input widget in base_form), all capital letters are cast to lowercase. This does not happen on Windows or Linux, so I think it is something mac specific. As far as I understand this is backend independent (I have seen it happening for expyriment).

When I use a form to get text input there seems to be no change in case (it displays capital letters, and stores them also when they are input).

Is this maybe on an older macos version?
