By examining ideas or labor, technology and the greater economy in Wallace’s recent work as a jumping off point, we will hold a group discussion on building coalitions and reclaiming autonomy and dignity in workplaces today. What are the internal contradictions workers face in the gig economy at large, and in the field of contemporary art? How do we reclaim forms of autonomy and worker power? How can new forms of technology support worker power?]
