In some scenarios that render an invalid or unusable dictionary, it would be helpful to have a way to "tag them off" for Lectern to not disallow using those.

Edit: originally titled "deprecation", I can see this feature being used for testing and troubleshooting purposes, so "disabling" may be more adequate/accurate as a description of the intended functionality.
