Next release: November 30, 2024

I did a quick check since our last release was the end of August. There have only been pre-commit changes since that release. We'll skip a September and October release, and tentatively plan for end of November, if needed.

hi @willingc thank you for this. I noticed that one of our workflows might be turned off because of lack of activity here (i got an email). I like the idea of an end of nov release.

i have some scripts here that i wanted to move over and to make a few updates to support our metrics workflow - with a specific focus on peer review metrics to support tracking that things are moving forward. it's hard to do that right now but we have the data that we need. Maybe after the FF i can begin to think about what tasks this involves and I can chip away at small tasks via issues.
