Hey there! Joe from cibuildwheel here. I just finished a project that is relevant to the manylinux project and I wanted to give you guys a sneak preview before I post it elsewhere.
It's called Manylinux Inspector and it's a way to get a high-level view of what's in the manylinux/musllinux images. The way it works is that it looks at the quay.io repos, finds recent images, pulls them and runs a load of commands to find out interesting things like OS version, installed tools and versions, Python versions, packages etc.
Then there's a interactive webpage that lets you explore this data and compare images. Recently I've found it useful just to quickly check what images support the Python 3.12 beta, for example.
The code is OSS and available on Github. I'm curious what you guys think of this, if you have any feedback before I publicise it more widely?
